Seeking pre-medical student interested in a career in Pediatrics for workforce research project.

Research assistance needed for a national survey of pediatric hospitalists. On behalf of the AAP Section on Hospital Medicine Subcommittee on Community Hospitals, we are conducting a census to better characterize the number and clinical scope of those pediatric hospitalists serving in a community setting.

- work from home, afternoons and evenings preferably.

- Involves calling/researching online hospitals to inquire about available pediatric hospitalist services, networking with pediatric hospitalists and obtaining brief survey information over the phone.

- Opportunity for mentorship on careers in pediatrics, research design using the online research tool called Redcap.

- Pay $15/hour. Initially authorization of 70 hrs time with likely more hours authorized as needed to finish the project.

Requirements:
- Pre-medical or graduate student

- Basic computer skills, familiarity with word/excel and basic web applications necessary.

- Excellent social, communication and organizational skills
