I'm graduating this semester and I'm not applying until next year. This means I'll be out for two years. For one of those years I want to get into a good research program. Anyone know a good place to start looking for programs that various universities offer. Would I even be eligible being out of undergrad. I would like to do biomedical research at a reputable university. Where should I start? Is there any database?
Thanks

NIH has a research program. I think you can extend it to two years at the end of your first. Though, I'm not sure when the applications were/are due

Also, are you sure you want to do research for two years? Have you considered doing Americorps or working for a non-profit organization?

You can check out Large hospitals web page employment section. Here in Boston there are many research assitant spots for places like MGH. Their should be a bunch of spots open in NYC if you live in that area.
