A question regarding to authorship @ research conference poster:
My name was not among the author's list on the poster when we submitted the abstract (I was not anticipated to help with this poster). Therefore, my name did not show up in the abstract book.
However, later when we made the poster I contributed data and figures, and my name appeared as an author on the poster at the conference (I was not the presenting author, tho).
Can I put this poster authorship as part of my research results on AMCAS/resume? Although my name was not on the abstract, it was on the actual poster.
I don't want to get into any trouble if med school actually look into it and thought it was a fraud when my name did not appear on the online abstract.
