It looks like I missed the deadline for every summer research program in the world. Is it possible to get a research position during the school year? My school doesn't do much research so I have to look somewhere else. Also, I am not a natural science major.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can look for non-summer research opportunities? Any summer research programs I'm still not late for? I will be be a senior next year, so I feel like now is my last chance because all research positions are for undergraduates or require a science degree.

Thanks.

P.S. I live in NY

talk to professors doing research in things you are interested and you can do research for them in the summer or during the school year. You may even be able to find something for this summer. This will be easier if you are at a large research college. If you're at a small liberal arts college it will be much harder to find something.

If your school doesn't do research then check out other colleges in your area. Some profs are willing to take volunteers who are not students.
