Just got the new MSAR and it suggests contacting the school to which you are applying to discuss your residency status. I went through this last year but I want to point out a conflict.

I have been in my graduate program for 3 years now in Mississippi. I live here and I have to pay state taxes. I, however, have a Florida driver's license, Florida voter's registration card, and my car is registered in Florida.

MMC in Jackson, MS. requires these things I do not have for MS. (e.g. driver's license). However, some Florida schools are going to require I physically live in Florida to be a Florida resident.

Am I resident of the US? (by medical school standards?) Not very objective if you ask me.
