I unfortunately matched into a great categorical IM program. I wanted a categorical surgery spot in gen surgery, thoracic or CT surgery. I had a rough season and I am more than qualified for any of those specialties.

If anyone wants to swap, I would be hugely grateful. I am willing to complete the 45 days so we avoid a match violation/requiring a waiver from NRMP

Why did you apply for IM if you only wanted to do surgery?
