Hi there!

I would love to talk with other residents wives with how they cope with their husbands' residency schedules, especially call schedules. It is interesting that my husband has been on call every third night and when we interviewed here we were told it would be every 5th night. How things change once your in the program!!! I am not sure if it's just scheduling problems or what. The chief resident does all the scheduling. Is that the way it is in all residencies? Curious.

Great link, Christy! I've been looking for a forum like this. I'm only an incoming med student, so I can't really respond to your question, but as a married med student-to-be I just wanted to thank you for the link.

I just wanted to thank everyone who stopped by to visit us! And we have 3 or 4 new members and we are glad to help in any way we can as medical spouses!!! We work so hard to be supportive of our MD's and we can tell you what works and what doesn't and just be there for any support medical spouses or going-to-be medical spouses need!!!
