No one can tell you exactly what chance you will have in gaining a residency.

It looks like you are interested in pediatrics.

Last year out of the 2,269 first year postions in pediatrics offered through the NRMP match, 74% were filled by US gradautes. This means that at least another 23% were filled by independent applicants (including foreign medical graduates who were not US citizens). FREIDA even reports a higher percentage of IMGs (including both foreigners and US citizens who studied abroad) of 31.9%.

However, in order to be a competitive applicant, one needs:
  • Good USMLE scores
  • Letters of Recommendation
These may gain an applicant interviews at residency programs. Solid performances on interviews may either yield a job offer outside the match or the possiblity of "matching" to the program.

[Each year about 6,000 IMGs (including US citizens and non-US citizens) enter graduate medical education in the U.S.]
