Hey all-
As you may remember, I've had some difficulty with supervision this year.
As the semester ends, I'm looking to do a little learning about different approaches to supervision. I'd prefer to not buy a book unless I have to. A pdf or a reference to an article I can go get would be fantastic.

PS- After Monday, I should be completely done with said awful supervisor. She'll still be the clinic director, but most likely wont be standing over my shoulder teaching me how to spell anymore! Yay!

I have some powerpoint presentations that cover the basic of a few models, though for more in-depth information I'd recommend the texts I listed in the other thread.

My personal preference is the Developmental Model, though there are advantages to the other models....depending on the setting. PM me your e-mail and I'll forward them.

This is an outstanding text and useful at all levels:

Stoltenberg, C.D., McNeill, B. and Delworth, U. (1998) IDM Supervision: An
Integrated Developmental Model of Supervising Counselors and
Therapists. San Francisco: Jossey-Bass.

thanks T4C and docma. I love having "breaks" so I can go and learn about this stuff on my own, unhindered by typical semester duties. T4C, I PM'd you.
