What are my chances and what schools should i look at? i'm not trying to get into a top notch school, but i am hopping to get into a MD program
  1. cGPA and sGPA: 3.58 and ~3.6 sGPA with upward trend (~3.85 my last 4 semesters) as a biomedical sciences major with microbiology undergrad
  2. MCAT: 508 with 125 chem, 125 cars, 128 bio, 130 psych (Should I Retake this??)
  3. State of residence: Colorado, currently living in Pennsylvania
  4. Ethnicity and/or race: White and Chinese (i look pretty white so i probably will just apply as white to increase my chances)
  5. Undergraduate institution: Colorado State University
  6. Clinical experience: Got EMT cert and IV cert. Couldn't get a job, but have ~70 clinical hours from getting the certifications)
  7. Research experience and productivity: 1.5 years of research in undergrad and am currently in a master's in microbiology at jefferson university working on a research based thesis
  8. Shadowing experience and specialties represented: Shadowed 2 different ER docs in US and took a trip to DR where i shadowed an anesthesiologist, neurosurgeon and ER doc
  9. Non-clinical volunteering: have ~160 hours volunteering as a vet tech at a cat rescue/clinic. Walked dogs at a humane society for ~25 hr and have some other volunteering with clubs at my school such as with st jude
  10. Other extracurricular activities: was a officer for my schools biomedical student club for last 2 years. sat on the board for the college of vet and biomedical sciences to help with budget for 2 years. Sat on a student advisory board for the facility fee where we decided how to renovate and spend a 2 million budget on the school.
  11. Relevant honors or awards: dean's list for last 2 years of undergrad

So I am debating on whether to retake the MCAT or not. I got a 508 with 125 chem, 125 cars, 128 bio, 130 psych. I'm worried if i take it again I won't do that much better and it would look bad on my application, but my scores seem a little uneven so im not sure if I need to retake. Chem is usually my best subject, but having it as the first section kind of psyched me out. My GPA is 5.58 cumulative and my science GPA is about the same. I'm not trying to get into a top notch school, but would like to get into an MD program.

some extra info:
I am currently in a master's program which consists of a research based thesis. I have a lot of shadowing hours (mostly abroad) and am EMT certified, but was never able to find an actual job (my town didn't have part timers and i didnt want to have to work 4 12 hour shifts while being a full time student) with that so mostly just have clinic hours for that. I have a lot of other volunteer experience, many with animals, including 100+ hours as a vet tech assistant and some hours walking dogs at the humane society. I also have undergraduate research experience.
Please reformat as suggested so we can best advise you: *~*~*~*IMPORTANT: How to Format Your WAMC Thread for Optimal Results and More!!*~*~*~*

I do NOT recommend an MCAT retake.

I suggest working on ECs and these schools:

U VM
U Toledo
Rush
NYMC (maybe)
Creighton
Albany
Rosy Franklin
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
MCW
SLU
WVU
Wayne State
Tulane
Loyola
Wake Forest
Loma Linda (only if you are SDA or a very devout Christian)
VCU
Netter
Seton Hall
EVMS
Oakland-B
Gtown
GWU
Uniformed Services University/Hebert (just be aware of the military service commitment)
Nova MD
TCU/UNT
Your state school(s).
Any DO program. I can't recommend Touro-NY, Nova, Wm Carey, LUCOM, ICOM and BCOM, for different reasons. MSUCOM? Read up on Larry Nasser and you decide. LMU has an accreditation warning, which concerns me. CalHS is too new and has a too small a rotations base, it seems.

yeah my bad, it was supposed to be a 3.58..I'm going to change the format to make it easier for people to read anyway
