Complete Retaking a passed prereq

So last summer, I made a pretty big mistake. I decided that I was going to take physics 2 over the summer through my local CC to save money. But on top of that, I decided I'd take it online so I could spend more time at home. (I was a caretaker for my disabled parent before we got someone full-time). The labs were done through a kit and all exams were in person so it was really the same as taking in-person, but I know Adcoms probably won't see it that way; unfortunately, it is denoted as an online class on the unofficial transcript. I got an A in it and I'm definitely confident that I would get an A again if I took it in person at my 4-year school, but I'm not sure how that would be received.

I have a 3.95/524 so I'd really prefer not to limit myself only to schools that will accept it. As far as upper levels, the only other physics w/ lab options available to me are calc-based physics 1/2, and then a few physics classes that are more general and intended for nonscience majors, so I think those would not be an option.

Am I correct in thinking that retaking is my best option?

What other choice do you have?

My only other physics options are the non-science major gen ed oriented classes or taking the calc-based sequence. I just wasn’t sure how a retake would be looked at given that I got an A, but I’m realizing now I’m probably just being very neurotic about this.

Taking the non-science course is a major step backwards and won't help you. Taking the calculus-based sequence is probably overkill and could hurt your GPA. If your university approved and accepted your summer coursework and deemed it equivalent to their class, you are probably okay.

My university approved it and deemed it equivalent (they even have the same course #) the problem is just that since it was online it won't be accepted by a large number of medical schools, including my undergrad's.

Is the fact this is an online version of the class notated on your institution's transcript? I wonder because a lot of undergraduate classes nowadays have online components, and there are a few online programs run by accredited US institutions that promote their prehealth prerequisites to students, noting that many medical schools have accepted them despite being delivered online.

When I view my unofficial transcript they unfortunately have added a W to indicate web which I’m assuming will also be on the official one.
