Retaking classes, how to AMCAS calculate GPA?

How do AMCAS calculate the GPA for the classes that you retook? does it count both???

When u say it average the two do you mean that the two classes will count as 1 class? In another word, let's say u took a 3 credit class and u got a C- and retook and got a C+, does AMCAS just count them separately as two 3 credit class or do they count it as one class (3credit) and just give u an average of C???

2 separate 3 credit courses, EVERY class you take is factored into your GPA
