Hi everone, I was wondering how it looks to the adcomm's when you retake one of your required courses from the bcmp list? Do all carry different points of view?

I'm sure it depends on the circumstances.

I re-took GCHEM and Physics - but I had taken them before in 1989. So they had 'expired' for most med schools.

I think the one most important thing is: DO BETTER THE SECOND TIME YOU TAKE IT.

i think the important thing is.....get an A the second time you take it. If you got a C the first time, only to get a B the second time. thats like 8 units of C+/B-. not that much of an improvement and not worth the extra time if you ask me.

but yeah it depends on the circumstances.

Only if you can get an A in the class.
