Do you guys think its stupid if I redo AAMC 4r, 5, and 6? I studied for the mcat over the summer and did 4r, 5, and 6, and like half of 7. I really doubt I remember any of the questions, but I dont know. I was thinking of doing it, but i feel that if its a waste of time, where I get like a 40 because I knew half the questions, even though im probably supposed to get like a 20 haha. What do you guys think?

it's unlikely that u can recall every detail to achieve a 40.

Redoing them is fine. Take those exams first though and save the unused AAMC exams for later.

I took 3 AAMC exams when studying for the April 2005 MCAT. I stopped my test prep in March 2005 and decided to take the MCAT in August 2005 instead. I retook those exams about 5 months later and did not remember main ideas of verbal or basic setups of PS/BS passages.

I figured I would retry the old tests but the fact that I took them before made a huge diffrence. I scored a 26 on the MCAT before because I ran out of time (10 - 15 questions were guessed on every section). Its been a year since I took the AAMC tests but i managed to score in the high 30's for each test (2 so far) without any studying for the entire year.

Although the worst case is that you waste 40 bucks to review old meterial.

i am in a similar position. i took the august 2005 mcat, and i just recently decided that i am going to retake the test again this august.

its been a year since i touched my mcat material, and i am somewhat nervous. i have a bunch of tpr and EK books(althought i am going to buy more EK books this time around), the ones i have, are all marked up and used. i dont know what to do about that.

i got a PS 9, and BS 8, which i would like to see go up by one point each. and as for my verbal, God help me. i did horrid on the verbal 6!!!, and going to dedicate so much time on it this time around......any advice?????
