I took the MCAT in April and September. My score did not change.

I’m now torn between:
1. Retaking exam (spending more months for study, then build ECs in whatever time remains).
2. Forget another retake and focus on building ECs

Any advice on what might maximize my chances. Thank you so much in advance!

I'd probably say avoid another retake. Did you take any courses or something other than self-prep the second time?

Any non-clinical volunteering? There is opportunity there. Maybe add 10 or 20 more shadowing hours as well.

You've plateaued, so another retake is not advised.
Get in a LOT of service to others less fortunate than yourself, as the MD schools you'll need to target will be service loving.

You'll need DO schools on your list as well.
