    Not sure, but I think it is possible, in addition to having social security benefits garnished at 65/67 years old for delinquent school debt or taxes as per this article, younger student loan borrowers who are still working but are unable to pay taxes on their IBR student loan forgiveness at the end of the repayment period could have their incomes garnished to repay taxes owed on their student loan forgiveness and any penalties and interest that may be incurred too.
