Its a question book so doing questions after you read guyton (i used costanzo) is a good way to go to make sure you've covered all the bases.

Baby Guyton, Ganong and Costanza are good physiology review books. They are not substitutes for the big texts like Berne and Levy or Guyton. I found that trying to use a review while I was learning medical physiology didn't actually save time for me. Our professors wanted us to know more details than a review book could provide and thus our text readings were from Berne & Levy. If you have access to a big text in your medical library, then having one of the review books is likely to be OK but I never had time during study time to go to the review-types of resources. I did use Costanza for Board Review second year.

I used Guyton and I loved it (even though it is quite time-consuming). The pocket guide to Guyton is also really good.
