Riverview Hospital-Detroit Michigan

Hi, it's Liljoe again. I was recently matched to Riverview Hospital(not Riverside) in Detroit for my clinical rotations. I do know that it is part of the St. John's health care system and is in the inner city of Detroit-nice neighborhoods!!

Has anybody rotated through this hospital and if so do you know of some housing close by. How was your experience at the hospital?

Hey Liljoe, I can't really tell you about the program there, i'm only a high school student, but I live about 15 minutes away from Riverview in a Detroit suberb. As far as housing goes, there are plenty of places around here to rent for not to much. I would however advise against finding a place near the hospital as it is a tough neighborhood. There are nice areas of Detroit that are within 10-15 minutes by car.
