Are you talking about Hashimoto the Japanese Micro professor?

Anti TSH receptor antibody decreases thyroid hormone synthesis and explains the hypothyroidism.
Antimicrosomal antibody is present in as high as 80% of patients with HT. But what role does it play, besides the fact that it is an autoantibody and diagnostic.
