Did anybody get an e-mail from CMS about being in the possible interview pool? Do all interviewees get placed in this pool or is it analgous to being put on hold? I'm just curious.

yes i did today. in the email, it said that they put 2000 people in it and interview 700, so we have 1/3 chance i guess.

does anyone how long it takes after being put in the possible interview pool to receive an invite??

I was in the possible interview pool and informed RFU that I would be in the area for another interview. They were great about offering me a spot that opened up right away. Just an FYI for people that are in the possible interview pool and will be in the Chicago-area. I would let them know well ahead of time to schedule travel arrangements, however.

I got the same email too.

This 700 number got me a little confused. I checked their previous years stat and it seemed that they interview right around 700 people. So does this mean that almost everyone that is interviewed is put in this "possible interview" pool first.

Nevertheless, it seems that we have a 1 in 3 chance of getting an interview and then 1 in 3to4 chance of getting accepted. I LOVE THIS STUFF.
