rotations at CCOM

I'm wondering if anyone knows typically how difficult it would be to set up third and fourth year rotations at an outside institution or location besides the one your at? My school is Chicago Osteopathic Med. (CCOM) and I was interested in doing rotations in Oregon. Any info would be great! thxs!

Setting up 4th year externships will be much easier than setting up 3rd year externships. Most institutions only take 4th year students. However, you should contact the medical education department of the institution you are trying to rotate through because they are the ones who can give you a definitive answer. Assuming you apply early enough, setting up the externships is generally not a problem.
