Welp, here I go on round 2 of my quest to get into medical school. I'm starting to feel better because I'm getting secondaries now from schools that didn't give me one last year. Loyola made my day yesterday. All my secondaries are sent in as of tomorrow (12/31). It's gonna be a while before I hear back but it was fun last year to have a dialogue going with everyone that I figured I would do the same thing this year. So here's the stats folks.

To tell you the truth, I don't know what happened. I got lucky I suppose. I can tell you this though, I spent a month (quite literally) doing nothing but sleeping, eating, and studying for the MCAT during the summer. I took the PR course but that didn't help. You really do need to sort things out by yourself, there are no shortcuts in life.

Rejection #1 1/14/02 - UIUC Medical Scholars Program. This isn't really a medical school rejection (I'm still in the game at UIC med) but I feel really crappy about it. I would've went in a second had I gotten in to this thing. Sigh.

Holy $hit. You're telling me with a 37 mcat and a 3.27 Ugrad GPA you didn't get in anywhere? Now that you're at a 3.67 Grad GPA you're still having trouble? What the f*** do these schools want?! The outlook like really $hitty for me if you're having problems. Damn!
