Does anyone have a pro-forma for this? How much does the hospital make on site of service differentials, u-tox, and ancillary revenues (behavioral health, PT/OT, addiction) for this kind of service line?

I know a psych-pain guy that does this. He bills 99214 on pretty much all the FU's. They order Utox, periodic xrays, occaional labs. The hospital makes money due to higher HOPD reimbursements ... They pay him I believe around 300K plus benefits for 8-5 M-F

Difficult to determine unless you know what their contracted rates are and what their estimated volume is.

Since you know what your program costs, an alternate approach may be to offer your program to cover the entire service, where the hospital covers your overhead, plus a negotiated percentage over that, and adjusted for estimated volume, plus, whatever else you might want thrown in.

Maybe they can designate you as their non-surgical Spine/Sports Ctr. of Excellence, or their official affiliate for Regen. Med. services, etc.
