I think we have to wait for them to send an email about it. The fee is supposed to be mailed into them I believe though..

Just received an email to mail the supplement fee today. Man why cant they make it online.

According to last cycle's thread, they sent out invites August 13th. So, this may be the week they send out interview invites (I Hope!)

Best wishes to all!

Why an NYU interview post from August in the Rutgers thread?

Did anyone else's status change from "invited for interview" to "received/under review" after completing their interview?

Congratulations!
You submitted soon and your stats is solid. I don’t know why you got interview late. Btw, Rutgers faculties are very nice.

He/she is out of state, Rutgers accepts mostly residents I believe

Thank you! I think it's likely due to two reasons (just my speculation):
1. I had a problem getting a co-signature from a professor to validate one of the LORs and receiving the one written by a dentist I shadowed. Schools like Western and UMD actually contacted me for this, and I didn't get the 2nd science letter checked off from the former's portal and supplemental from the latter until I resubmitted both. It's funny because I got the Rutgers' invite as soon as I forwarded them the updated letters through Interfolio earlier in the day (which could also be coincidental).
2, Rutgers only offers in-person interviews and I indicated that I'm doing a semester in Sweden in Fall 2022.

Or could be as someone else said, stats aren't everything. Regardless though this made me thrilled :p

I am (Cali)! According to the excel sheet, it seems like the odds for OOS interviewees are around 40%, which I would gratefully take as a decent shot :)

I went to the interview recently with the whole session being oos. They showed us the stats of all the oos acceptance and mentioned they do not prioritize IN students multiple times throughout the day.

How many interviews do you think Rutgers does before decision day?

I don’t think they prioritize OOS or IS applicants, it’s just OOS accepted students are less likely to matriculate and tend to go elsewhere.
