well maybe if dean played it more safe he wouldve got the democratic nomination.. this is my point... would being boring/safe be more beneficial?
 
be honest and explain your justification. if you feel that you are justified in breaking the law, then explain why. you need to consider the ramifications of breaking the law for some purported higher purpose though. don't get pigeonholed into an either/or type of answer, as there are sometimes multiple and less obvious options. for example, on my last ethical paper, i laid out what i felt were all the relevant criteria but flat out refused to conclusively answer one way or the other, and i explained my reason why.
 
as far as morals/ethics go:

religion first, hippocratic oath second, the law third.
