Join us for the Inaugural San Diego Dermatology Symposium (SDDS) - A Live Virtual Experience being held on September 11-13, 2020.
Sixteen renowned faculty will present updates on clinically-relevant topics such as: acne, actinic keratosis, alopecia, atopic dermatitis, atypical nevi, blistering disorders, COVID-19, dermatopathology, dermoscopy, hyperhidrosis, hyper-/hypopigmentation disorders, melanoma, Mohs surgery, nail disorders, pediatric dermatology, phototherapy, psoriasis, rosacea, skin cancer, skin infections, and sunscreens. Aesthetic dermatology topics includes acne scars, chemical peels, lasers, sclerotherapy, and skin anti-aging strategies. SDDS will also provide insights into useful topics for the practicing dermatologist, including career and practices tips, coding, building a successful cosmetic dermatology practice, burnout, and social media.
We will discuss a topic rarely seen at dermatology conferences: personal finance and stock investing. In this 50 minute lecture, we will discuss why to invest in stocks (as opposed to bonds and real estate or leaving in cash); the difference between stocks, mutual funds and ETFs; stock terminology; how to analyze stocks; and the difference of various retirement accounts.
The atmosphere of SDDS will have a flavor different from any other dermatology conference, incorporating learning with fun and interactive activities and games that will keep engagement levels high for both attendees and exhibitors. We will reward the most engaged attendees with giveaways including the new edition of Comprehensive Dermatologic Drug Therapy, 4th Edition, edited by Stephen E. Wolverton, M.D., and Jashin J. Wu, M.D., gift baskets from Burt’s Bees, dermatoscopes from Dermlite, and free registration for the 2021 San Diego Dermatology Symposium.
We greatly support medical education, so registration is free for all residents, fellows, and medical students! Dermatologists who recently graduated in 2020 can register for free as well!
