I'm now a permanent resident! YAY!!!!

Hey rpames,
I'm going to hope you've got my back when I start trying to fill out those FAFSA things. After all, wouldn't be good to have your future partner in too much debt!!!!

Luv,
Eyegirl

All you damn Canadians keep coming and taking up my soil. (totally kidding):D

I just laughed when I filled out the FAFSA forms. Since we are going into a profession school, they considers us "independent" even if we are not. Well, I'm not independent, I guess I will be next year since I'll be married and now she will be supporting me, but when it asked me what my income was last year I just cracked up. I did not make enough money to support a dog, much less be considered independant. Oh well, as long as they send the money.

Don't feel bad, rpames. I made so little last year (while in school) that I qualified for earned income credit. They bend over backwards to give you loans for professional school (for the most part). They just upped the Federal Staford loan limit for Summer 2003 from 18500 for the year to 43000!!!  Thank GOD I'm not going to owe THAT much every year! Good god.

Welcome to America, now get a job. ;)
