Almost sounds like schmoozing with the enemy but...
I've heard people say that if you are really interested in a particular school, you should call them and express your interest. Has anyone done this? What do I say when I know that my application is already complete. Besides it'll be the secretary that'll probably answer the phone. May be send a fruit basket with a teddy bear wearing a t-**** saying "I wanna be a doc sooo bad" or may be not. So has anyone called the adcom to ki$$ @ss?

Looks like you made a little typo when writing "t-shirt." ;)

But seriously... Don't stalk the admissions office, like someone's premed advisor (or someone like that) mentioned. And if it's your first choice, you could write a letter of intent (which is mostly considered binding).
