Any thoughts on what schools I should apply to?
- NOT CA/TX/NY
- bio and Spanish majors
- 3.81 cGPA; 3.69 sGPA
- 517 MCAT
Service & leadership:
- volunteering at community clinic for two years (120 hours completed)
- leader of student volunteer org (215 hours)
Research:
- research in ED of teaching hospital (400 hours)
Shadowing:
- shadowing physicians at teaching hospital (40 hours)
Other:
- semester abroad that included month at rural alternative health center
- internship at community clinic (400 hours)
- worked for childcare program (420 hours)
TA/tutor:
- Spanish tutor/TA (130 hours)
- lab TA (125 hours)
- gap year working at local hospital
I have my school list pretty solidified right now but I am curious to hear your thoughts first!
