Major- Neuroscience

Grades - cGPA 3.8 sGPA 3.7 (upward trend-all A's junior and senior year)

MCAT- 517

Clinical- 100 volunteer, over 500 EKG tech/monitor tech job

Non-clinical- 75 read to/help kids with their homework in underserved area library

Shadowing- 20hr- will be doing more this summer hopefully if things go back to normal

Research- behavior and wet lab work for 3 years, my own project for a year, honors thesis, name on review paper

Leadership- UTA for ochem, physics, biochem- Scholarship chair for my sorority two terms- captain of charity dance team

LoRs- 2 science, 1 non science, 1 research LoR

PA resident, white, not top 20 undergrad, most likely working as a medical assistant during my gap year

I agree: you need to boost your shadowing and your non-clinical volunteering if what you describe is all you did in college that's worthy of mention in your med school app.
