Did a school lose a letter of recommendation (LOR)? One of mine did, I won't say who. I'm sure it was sent (all the other schools received this LOR). Or maybe it was lost in the mail? Just wondering if this happened to anybody else. Checking to see if all schools received all the LORs is a serious pain in the arse that I have now undertaken.

Yikes, that sucks. It's seems possible that a school did. They get thousands of applicants each year, and with 4 letters per applicant that is a lot of letters. The postal service is fallible (and I don't even like the band) and so are administrative personnel in admissions offices.
You have my sympathy.

One school lost my LOR twice.

Yeah, one of mine got lost, and I didn't find out until after their deadline. They still let me send it in, but I haven't gotten an interview, and I'm not counting on one 🙁
