I am a recent grad with a BA in Psych. I'm taking a year off to work, as I've recently re-evaluated what I want to do with my life (I'd previously applied to adult clinical PhD programs). I've decided I want to get a specialist's degree in school psych, but I'm looking for the best way to start.

I know funding for these particular programs vary from each univeristy. My question for those of you in the field/hoping to go into it/knowing others who have done it, where did you/they go? What did you like/dislike from your particular program?

I'm asking because while there are several options as to where I can apply, I have yet to find a ranking site for them. I also would like an insider's view of different programs.

If anyone could help me out here, I'd appreciate it! I need to start researching my programs so I can be ready to apply in the fall!

Sorry I didn't see this post any sooner. If you haven't already applied anywhere, some schools are still accepting on a rolling admissions basis. I am currently a school psychologist practicing with a master's in psychology and a specialist degree in school psychology. I absolutely love what I do and feel like I've accomplished quite a bit everyday. I did my training at a graduate school in the South. If you want more details, message me and I'll reply asap. Good luck to you.
