nymc might be done booking interviews and those on hold may get spots. The reason I say this is I had an invite sometime in Oct/Nov and it was scheduled for late january. So I am guessing they have booked interviews till April and if anyone withdraws the interview spot, it would be open to people on pre-interview waitlist. NYU has stopped taking new invites as well I think (NYU is dis-organized this year I believe cause it's their first year in the AMCAS\AAMC system).

I really don't think NYMC has stopped inviting interviewees. This is from my status page:

Interview Information

Details are available once you have been emailed an invitation to interview. You may be invited to interview via email at any time during the interview season from October through April.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but doesn't that say they invite people through April?

They added an extra week beyond their originally scheduled final interview day. The original "last day" was 1/27, but while I was there they said that they'd added two more interview days (held last week.)

Supposedly all of the final decisions have been made and letter are going out soon.

washU has 2 weeks of interview left. They will stop after feb 24.

Does anyone know whether Tufts and NYMC are sending out invitations for interviews still? I am still waiting to hear back from them, and all I get is that they are still reviewing my application. Don't know whether that is good or bad, but I think most people are recieving acceptances by now. Also, is there anyone that just recently recieved an interview date this month from these schools?

Aww, I just had to find out Hogwarts rejected me via SDN, didn't I?

I got my letter a while ago. It was a howler. But I am thinking of petitioning, they can't discriminate against me just because I am a muggle, that's just not right.

guaranteed that NYMC invites even IN APRIL! last cycle...i was invited on 4/15, had no choice about interview date...said interview was schedule for 4/26...it was crazy!! but it happens

Ummm, someone just got a Yale invite on the 3rd, and Stanford is definitely giving out interviews all through February...

Actually, NYU was on the AMCAS system last year. I only applied to AMCAS schools and NYU was one of them. 👍
