    OC:19
    RC:24
    QR:18
    PAT:21
With a GPA of around 3.5 and since around a 3.4

It's not your Bio score by itself, it's that it drags your TS down kinda low.. sweet RC though

you have a decent chance at some of the larger private schools: NYU, USC, Temple, BU, Tufts

Each dental school interviewer I had mentioned that the Bio, Org. II, and RC portions are the most important predictors of success. You might be okay with that score since your other numbers are good though.

How is that GPA solid? It's below average.

A solid GPA would be around 3.7-3.9, or better yet 4.00 and that still doesn't promise a thing.

I got into 3 schools so far with a 17 in bio. I think we had sorta similar scores other than GPA... I think you'll be fine. Just make sure to apply to enough schools, and the right schools. Try looking at the ADEA stats for schools that accept lots of out-of-state students, and also your state school(s) of course.

Granted, I applied 2 years ago, so I don't know how much has changed, but...

I was accepted to Nova and offered and interview at WVU that I ended up not attending... this is in addition to the 3 Texas schools I was accepted to, and I had a 17 BIO, 19 GC, 19OC, 20RC, 14QR, and 15PAT (18/18/15). My GPA was higher, but I do think you have a chance. I would apply to Nova if you like the weather down there. Good luck.
