back when i was a business major, i took 2 chemistry classes for 'non science majors' to fulfill the gen-ed requirements.

they were called "chemistry in context 1/2" - bs classes that just talked about the ozone.

would these be counted towards science gpa?

they don't sound non-science to me

Yes they would be considered in your science gpa. That is if it's listed under CHEM or BIO. Even if it isn't, you can place it under science and AADSAS will make the final call. Chances are it will probably count unless it has some kind of strange category.
