scoring verbal?..

hello, i've been taking lots of verbal tests, but my scores aren't consistent at all. on some tests i've been getting only 39 right, otehrs 52 and otehrs like 42...basically you get the idea, i've been fluctuating +/- 10 questions on the verbal. are there any tips you all have?. and also, i can't find a decent scoring conversion chart for verbal, does anybody have one. where do i stand, could i pull off an 8 or 9 or do i still have a lot of work to do to pull that off...thanks for any help ..

bump, same here. The most reliable sources are probably AAMC tests
