Second time taking biochem, thinking about using P/F option at school

Hi everyone,
So this semester is my second time taking Biochem. In my first semester i ended up getting a D so I decided to retake the class which is what i am doing right now. So i just recieved my 3rd exam score and I literally studied everything, rewrote all my notes, went through the study guide 10 times and made flash cards and I still ended up with a bad grade and I don’t know what to do. I have already accepted the fact that i am going to do a post-bac or a SMP after i graduate to help improve my gpa. But i am also thinking about putting this class on Pass/Fail if i do bad again on the 4th exam so idk what to do. PLEASE HELP I am literally crying.
