If I remember correctly (I just recently threw out all my copies of the secondaries I sent in) MCPHU and Jefferson did not have additional essay requirements.

do a search. this topic was beaten to death last summer.

There are no secondary questions for Finch. 🙂

Thanks to those of you that have replied... Well I've done a search and still haven't been able to find the secondary questions for the rest of the schools, so if anyone out there could let me know, I'd really really appreciate it. It would help me revise and finalize my list of schools to apply to.

unless i've misunderstood you, i really don't think secondary questions should factor into your decision to apply to a particular school. there are more important issues.

-U of Rochester•••••Tufts- Why are you applying to Tufts.
Finch/CMS- none
MCPH- none
Einstein- none, unless you're a nontraditional applicant, in which case they want to know what you've been doing since college
Rochester- same as Einstein

I don't know about the rest

•••••Eh? No personal checks? Are you sure? I sent them a personal check...

Eh? No personal checks? Are you sure? I sent them a personal check...•••••Just checked the original app.
"Application Fee: Cashier's checks, certified checks, and money orders are the only accepted forms of payment. Personal checks will not be accepted."

Then there are two boxes you can check:
1. I am enclosing a cashier's check, certified check, or money order in the amount of $75 made payable to "MCP..."
2. I have received a fee waiver...

Sorry, did you ever hear from them if they did cash your check?

Crud. Dr Kermit, you're right, the application says that they don't take personal checks... but I checked the "cashier's check, etc." box and sent my personal check anyway. I guess that says something about my attention to detail, eh?

I called the bank, but I don't know how to find out if the check was cashed. Actually, I'd rather it not be cashed at this point 🙄 because I'm not going to MCPH even if I get in. I'd withdraw, but I had a strange interview and I want to know if I'll be accepted.

Well, if you were offered an interview, chances are your check was probably cashed and they didn't care enough to wonder if you had the appropriate funds. Ironic isn't that the two schools that don't allow personal checks are undergoing financial hardship!?!
