Secondary Application Confirmation - Does every school send a confirmation email

Or do some schools not bother with an email confirming that you have completed your secondary application?

Pretty much. Some email a completion confirmation, some you have to check online to know anything, and others leave you with nothing until a rejection/interview shows up.
