Secondary deadlines & Committee Letters

I'm not sure how many of you guys are on the same boat as me, but my school sends out a committee letter + LOR in 1 packet around mid-august. I just read that Northwestern Univ. is harsh when it comes to getting the secondary completed in 2 weeks. Are there any more schools that have these sort of deadlines? How strict are they? Should I inform them that my school's policy is to send everything around August 15th?

Best to ask your premed committee directly. Mine said they haven't run into any problems in the past with that issue.

I agree. Many schools are like yours. You should contact them and ask, but I believe deadlines such as those are completing the actual secondary. LORs seem arbitrary for most schools.
