Secondary essay for multiple schools

I'm hoping to use the same diversity essay for multiple schools, as well as use it for "any additional information not in your application" essay. Since the limit on some of these is 1500 characters, would it be bad to use a ~1500 character essay at a school with a 4000 character limit? I would imagine not, if the essay can convey everything that I want it to. But would others see it as lazy?

Thoughts?

Don't think about it too much.... as long as you're answering the prompt sufficiently!

It's not a bad idea to have some same general points. But, I think it'd also be a good idea to throw in some details that demonstrate that you wrote this for this school.

Edit: Don't just put details about the school for the sake of mentioning the school.
