Hello. This post is geared mainly to the infectious disease specialists. I returned yesterday to USA from the country of Romania. This was the only country I visited during my 5 to 6 days overseas. Because of the presidents travel ban I had to cancel my trip to Greece. Anyway, from reviewing the CDC guidelines, they only recommend quarantine if u visited a high risk country in Europe which I didnt. Romania is not in the schengen list and at the the time I left the country there were less than 80 cases. So do I have to Self-quarantine?

I think a lot of whether you need to self-quarantine will depend on what your hospital is now doing for covid. My hospital is now saying even for known exposure, just mask up and no need for self-quarantine, but stay home if you become symptomatic consistent with covid.
