Quick question, If im applying in the next coming cycle, can I send my application in at the beginning of June, take my MCATS later June, and have the scores sent to the schools? Will this be considered applying early, and will the schools look at my application at all before they receive MCAT's or will they just wait and put my application in the back of the pile until they receive my scores?

Thanks

I've been told it's okay to do this, but better to send them in all together. Your application isn't officially complete until they have your MCAT scores.

1. You don't have to send the scores to schools. AMCAS does it for you, even if it is after you have submitted.

2. Yes you can submit in June without it, but schools will not consider your application until the scores are back in July.

3. You will be on the later side of early -- but still relatively early

so what would be considered late? After mid august?

Theres no problem with sending in your primary application before youve taken your MCAT. Even tho you arent officially complete, you are beating the rush (and therefore the wait) of getting verified by AMCAS. If you have your personal statement and everything else ready, then definitely just go ahead and submit it.

I mean, yea i guess. Its all subjective. You can apply in august and still do really well in the cycle. If yo uare submitting your primary application in september or october......THEN you are no question late in the cycle.

the weaker the app the more important early is.

i applied on June 5!!!
