i know this might be a silly question but sending secondaries overnight-does that look kinda bad or ridiculous? even in the middle of the cycle or basically now?

I did it for two schools before I knowing how much it costs, ~$15 each. Priority mail should be fine if you feel you have to get it there asap. I don't think it'll look bad. If anything schools might see it as you really wanting to attend their school.

I don't think it looks bad at all. I did it for LECOM, mainly because my LORs didn't get sent and needed to be in before I interviewed! The mail is the mail is the mail. It doesn't matter how it gets there, just that it does! 😀

I think it looks good--the only one I did this with was VCOM, I know that probably this fact alone didn't get me a quick interview but after I overnighted it, I had an interview within a week. That is the shortest turn around time I have had thus far, I have 3 other interviews.

I think it would probably not matter too much; I'd imagine they would probably just open it and put it in the stack or file with everyone else's... I don't think "screeners" typically open mail, but I could be wrong.

On the other hand, if it gives you peace of mind, go for it; it can't hurt...

I only did it for one school, and that was only because they called me at home on a monday asking for an interview on thursday, and in the same breath, asked me to submit a secondary before my interview (which they hadnt previously asked for). they gave me 3 days to complete a secondary and get it to them for an interview on thursday. I would only do it if you're in a situation like this or you're nearing the deadline. Otherwise, regular or priority mail is fine.
