someone told me that some science classes dont get counted as such by AMCAS and that if you want them to be counted as such you have to send in a description of the course from your school showing that is it a science course at your undergrad. Is this true? Someone told me A&P is viewed by AMCAS as a non science, which I cant believe but who knows, has anyone heard of this? Or any other classes?

AMCAS has a list of courses and departments that they will typically count as BCPM.

do some research on the AAMC website (pg 34) and you should be able to find an answer about the courses in particular that concern you. anecdotally, in my dealings with amcas, i never had to dispute a course or send a description.

EDIT: according to AMCAS, A&P is counted as bio and thus is included in BCPM.
