Hey All U. Florida Hopefuls (and Caveman & Papa Smurf who will inevitably post a bunch of "Florida sucks the big one" posts.) :wink: :wink:

I still haven't heard any news for UF since I was put on hold in December. I don't understand what's going on. Didn't they mail letters on the 5th?? Are they still mailing acceptance letters? If you have new info, please post here.

Don't feel bad Miami...I didn't get my "try again next year letter" from EVMS (I interviewed in Sept/Oct 2000) until AFTER my classes at UF started in August of 2001!!! And this was AFTER (about 6 months after!) I had sent a polite letter TO THEM withdrawing my application since I had been accepted to UF!!

Hopefully you're just waiting on someone else to go somewhere else! 😀

I thought I posted on the 5 page UF thread that UF has offered as many acceptances as they have seats, so as our favorite MS1, Cobragirl, stated, we're hanging out til someone else drops out of the UF accepted pool. I also have heard nothing since my 'hold' letter in October. I sent an update in Dec (mainly why I like them) and a true update of things I've done/plan to do last month. Still no word. g'luck all!

UF sent out letters on April 5th to people who interviewed on 3/15. I don't think they sent letters out to everybody on that day. I'll bump up the UF countdown thread so we can keep this all together in one place. 🙂
