Hi,

I am aware that "shadowing" is being "close enough to smell patients" and you just need to be in their close presence.

My question is.... can volunteering as a medical assistant/an interpreter be counted as shadowing
if you stay with doctors and patients during their appointment/treatment? Or does it fall into a different category?

Because I am currently volunteering at a local clinic and working closely with patients, doctors, and sometimes RNs.
Do you think I need to ask other physicians to see if I can shadow them?

Thank you :)
