Shadowing in the Dallas area

I am looking for opportunities to shadow a pathologist in the DFW area. I have been unsuccessful thus far finding a willing Dr., so you guys are my last hope! My life is hanging in the balance here, and I would be forever indebted to you 😉

If not, any suggestions on how I can go about locating a pathologist? I've found a few by searching hospital databases, but they seem to be few and far between. Most I've found were professors.

Am not in Texas, but you might try the Directory of Pathology Training Programs online at

http://www.pathologytraining.org/

You could search for residency programs, and that usually yields a program secretary, who could put you in touch with the department's contact person who arranges med student shadowing...

It's a fairly long shot - I have never tried to arrange these as a pre-med student, so I have no idea how that will go down in terms of patient confidentiality issues and etc. Might be worth a look.
