I'd stop by the local pharamcies and volunteer to shadow. I don't know about retail pharmacies, but hospital pharmacies are usually more than willing to take you as a volunteer.

Yeah, try to do both. I had an interview where the interviewer's questions were slanted toward retail. Unfortunately, I've only volunteered in a hospital pharmacy.
