After looking up a few of the many hospitals in Boston and reviewing their volunteer sections, Brigham And Women's Hospital sounds the most promising. Any one have experience with them? Or any other hospital/doctor?

Two relevant links I found on the website:

http://www.brighamandwomens.org/volunteer/premedical.asp

I'm not sure how the whole process works yet, but I'd like to hear what you all think. I guess it wouldn't hurt to call and ask about the volunteering opportunities either. Maybe I'll give it a shot tomorrow.

It seems kind of promising how they try to place you in a department of your choice, and offer possible shadowing of a physician (which I'm sure you could set up yourself once you're in the department.)

Anyway, what do you think? Any one have experience shadowing or volunteering (or both) in or around Boston?

Thanks
